Attention Sports/News Editors:

Blue Jays $2 Wednesdays with EXPEDITE PLUS

TORONTO, May 8 /CNW/ - The TORONTO BLUE JAYS are pleased to announce that
another proud Torontonian organization has followed the lead of Ted Rogers and
Rogers Communications in a display of civic pride.

EXPEDITE PLUS has stepped forward for Toronto by purchasing all remaining
200 level outfield and 500 level SkyDeck seats for the next four Wednesday
home games. These tickets will then be offered to our fans for $2. In
cooperation with Coca-Cola and Ontario Sportservice, fans will receive free
refills on fountain drinks and popcorn. A contribution will be made from the
Jays Care Foundation to four Toronto charities selected by the Blue Jays and
Expedite Plus.
To obtain tickets to the following games, fans can call the Blue Jays
ticket office at 416-341-1234, visit the Blue Jays box office at SkyDome,
through select Rogers Video store locations, all Discover Communications
Wireless Stores or via www.bluejays.com. This offer is for the following
games:

Wednesday, May 14 vs. Tampa Bay, 7:05pm
Wednesday, May 28 vs. Chicago White Sox, 7:05pm
Wednesday, June 11 vs. Pittsburgh Pirates, 7:05pm
Wednesday, June 25 vs. Baltimore Orioles, 7:05pm

"I grew up within blocks of the Dome and I've seen the area go through a
lot of positive changes - I even met my wife Rosanne at SkyDome. With the
challenges Toronto has been facing over the past few weeks, other corporate
citizens have started the ball rolling toward recovery - we wanted to help out
in sustaining that momentum. Getting fans out to see four ball games by
offering two buck tickets seemed a great way to do it."
VICTOR J. DESCHENES, O.M.C., President and C.E.O., Expedite Plus

"Toronto has been challenged by SARS and I am proud of the way we have
responded. Our tremendous health care workers have contained and controlled
the limited cases and our civic business leaders are responding to protect the
Toronto economy. Victor Deschenes and Expedite Plus are showing their pride
and we invite Torontonians to show theirs again."
PAUL GODFREY, President & C.E.O., Toronto Blue Jays

The Blue Jays will be utilizing the services of VoicePro Canada, who have
the ability to announce $2 Wednesdays to 1.5 million households by voicemail
in the Greater Toronto Area.
